The Friedman Archives Guide to Sony’s A7RV by Gary L. Friedman.
I’ve owned the, rather complex, Sony A7RV for over a year and have used it extensively. It wasn’t until I purchased Gary’s online edition of this book that I came into a nearly full understanding of all its features and how to use them. Although I have studied the Sony Help Guide, and free e-books about the camera, nothing gave me the clarity that this book has. Gary presents his information in a very organized manner and explains the features in a down to earth way. As a result some of the things that I just couldn’t quite get in the past were immediately understandable once I read his book.
His 800+ pg. guide is available at his website in hard copy or online: http://www.friedmanarchives.com
A lot of work went into writing this book and I give it 5 out of 5 stars! To own a piece of technology like the Sony A7RV and not have a quick reference guide is a shame. I strongly recommend you visit his website and make this purchase. While there you’ll also enjoy his blog which is quite extensive. Full disclosure, I don’t know Gary personally and am not receiving any compensation for promoting his book.
I also want to give proper photo credit to Gary Friedman as the image used in this post is a copy of the front cover of Gary’s book taken off his website.
