Specific information regarding the aircraft shown in the slide show click HERE.

The New England Air Museum has over 70 aircraft on display in three large exhibit hangars and an outdoor display area. The collection covers all of eras of aviation from the first pioneers to the jet age.  There are even a handful of vintage automobiles and a vintage Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The indoor displays are well maintained.  The museum is kept up well and is a trip that aircraft enthusiasts, history buffs, and those looking to fill 2 or 3 hours will enjoy.  This will be a winner with both young and old.  There are small peddle airplanes for the little kids to enjoy.  A number of flight simulators kept the youth busy as they had a chance to see what is was like to fly various types of aircraft.

The outdoor area has about  (8) aircraft.  It appears to be the opposite of the aircraft kept in the hangers.  Those kept inside are pristine.  Those outside are either being put out to pasture or they haven’t been refurbished as of yet.

There is an area with vending machines if you need a snack or drink.  Be sure to visit their large and modern gift shop.  There you will find a memento to meet anyone’s needs.
