Flaming feather!

This is a close up shot of a portion of a bird feather. I snipped off the upper portion of the feather and pulled away many of the feathers along the stem to achieve this look.

It was photographed in studio setting with studio lighting. I felt that feather mimicked the look of being on fire hence the name of this blog entry.
