On a brisk winters evening Cheryl and I took a ride through Lighthouse Point Park to view the much touted holiday light display. There are at least (25) various light scenes. Each scene is created and sponsored by an area business. Tune your radio into the appropriate station and music and narration will accompany your travels through the display.
It was quite crowded when we drove through. I really wasn’t able to get shots off from the car window so I was forced to park momentarily, hop out, take the shot and hop back in the car. Obviously this forced me to hand hold the camera therefore I wasn’t able to balance the ambient light with the display lights. The result being the look you see in the slide show. Not exactly my favorite look but, at least, it captured the display.
I think the lights would have had a better look if there had been some snow on the ground. However you can’t control mother nature. Next season you’ll certainly enjoy a quick drive through and help a good cause.
