This tractor and barn sat on property across from the Westfield Shopping Mall in Meriden, CT for years unattended. Target moved in and developed the land. The tractor remained for a few years at the entrance to Target but was demolished sometimes during 2012. I found this to be a rather interesting scene.

awww… so cute. wonder if the developers saved it.
Just went by there and the barn still sits with the tractor in it despite the thriving Target Department store and parking lot a few yards away. Thanks for stopping by!

At journeysthrumylens we’re lovers of old barns and the history behind them. It’s our hope that they stand forever. However, if a barn must be demolished then repurposing the wood is far better than throwing it away. Thank you for visiting my site Mike. Have a nice day.
Would it be possible to get a high resolution copy of the old tractor in the barn? I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee. Thanks!
Hi Gary,
I’ll have to do some digging into my archives to find that file. Generally older files are in storage. I’ll see what I come up with and let you know. However, I would think that it would be possible.
