Partially Abandoned Barn, Coventry CT

The sun is setting on this somewhat abandoned barn at an old dairy farm in rural Coventry CT.  The farm itself was not actually abandoned but I believe the barn they currently use to house their livestock was across the street. If I had to guess the farmer probably just uses stores hay in the loft.

While photographing I was approached by a middle aged man in overhauls with a thick build that years of farming had obviously developed.  I was concerned that he would object to my photo’s but, to the contrary, he just wanted to know what I was up to and was a very cordial gentleman.

Had he objected the images would have been deleted.  I always respect people’s rights and views. I’m not one to pitch some type of “legal” argument over my rights.  I find when you just honestly explain to people why you’re taking an image they have no problem with it.  It’s all about mutual respect.
