For this shot I photographed a 6″ metal diecast model of a 1940 Ford Pickup truck that I bought new for $23.00 at a flea market. I video taped it on a 360 deg. turnstile and also shot still photography images.
I then inserted the tabletop shot of the truck into a previous picture of a tobacco barn that I had taken. I did add the signage on the side of the truck from an image I found on google images (garageartsigns.com). The barn is located somewhere in north central CT which is rich in tobacco barns. I didn’t record where the picture was taken.
Settings for the diecast model truck (in studio):
Sony A7RV, 61mp, full frame mirrorless camera with a Sony, Carl Zeiss E-mount, 24mm APS-C lens which renders a 36mm focal length.
Five images were taken, photo stacked and merged in Helicon Focus. Lighting was with a Godox VING V860II camera mounted flash and bounced off the while ceiling in manual mode at full power.
1/15th, f16, ISO 100, Manual Mode.
Settings for the barn (on location in the field):
Sony Nex-7, 24.3, APS-C camera with a Sony E 18-55mm, 3.5-5.6 lens at 29mm (35mm equiv.)
1/600th, f8, ISO 1600, Aperture Priority.
