The Town of Roxbury is situated in LItchefield County in the northwest corner of the state. It is composed of a couple of fairly good sized mountain ranges going through it as well as a valley between. With an elevation of 564 ft. I had a beautiful view of the surrounding fall foliage as I appeared to be at the highest point at one time during my visit. The town is 26 sq. miles with approx. 2100 residents. It’s known for it’s mining past and current farming community.
Of these three “gems” it’s obvious that one of them is a small house but the other two brick structures had some type of institutional look to me. All three have been abandoned quite some time ago and nature is slowly having it’s way with them.
If any of my visitors know what these two brick buildings represented at one time could you please write in and let me know.
Photographed with a Sony A7RII, 42MP, full framed, mirrorless camera and a Sony 24-105mm lens.
Exposure was fairly similar for all (3) buildings being approx.
ISO 400, 1/200th, F16 or F11, Aperture Priority.
Where are these located?
Hi Tim,
I don’t put locations generally speaking because not everyone likes people pulling up in front of their property and taking pictures. Some people get very irritated. So I figured it was best just to stay out of all that. Sorry.
