[wzslider height=”600″ lightbox=”true”]Photographed on the grounds of Weir Farm in Litchfield County CT. Once an artists colony it’s now a federal park. The layout has been modified slightly in photoshop to accentuate the surroundings. Because it’s the back of the building I can’t remember if it was a barn or a house or what? Either way it’s old and it’s attractive to me.

Jay,
Beautiful shot. When I lived in CT Weir Farm was one of my favorite places explore the fields & woods, frame some images and just relax. I took many shots there. It’s beautiful in every season and the history & work of J. Alden Weir and his successor artists is fascinating. Oh how I miss new England!
The building in your photo is not a house or the studio but one of the farm buildings.
I enjoy your work as always.
Hi David,
Thanks for your kind remarks. Nice that you were able to go there often (until you moved). My wife and I enjoyed our afternoon there as well. Stay well my friend.
